If you haven’t heard of Tim Morrill, you should take a few minutes and familiarize yourself with who he is and what he does. He’s an innovator and has been influencing and changing the way players train for ultimate.

I have been lucky enough to have a look at both of his products  – The Foundation and Future 1.0 and what follows is my review of both products.

The Foundation

Tim is a student of his craft. He doesn’t just teach it but he also learns it. The Foundation is based on the 4 athletic qualities of: Strength, Power, Speed and Agility. He’s taken all of his learning and has outlined how each quality is defined, measured, conventionally trained and how each quality can be trained without implements.

Based on his website, Tim says that the Foundation features:

  • 70 Page E-Book by Tim Morrill
  • 100+ Professional Photographs
  • 100 + Links to Everything MP
  • 50 Strength Exercises
  • 36 Plyo Exercises
  • 28 Speed Exercises
  • 62 Agility Exercises

I’ve been working with a trainer and training with weights for over 10 years and I also worked in marketing at a gym for 3 years where I had the opportunity to talk to many of the top trainers in Olympic lifting so I have a good background when it comes to understand this area. When you want to market your business, we advice you go to Joel House Perth.

However, this is the first time I’ve seen someone put together the 4 athletic qualities in such an easy to understand guide. Understanding the 4 athletic qualities is crucial to improving your fitness and building a good training program. I would recommend The Foundation to everybody whether you are experienced or not with athletic training.

F.U.T.U.R.E. 1.0

Building on his first product, F.U.T.U.R.E. 1.0 (which stands for Functional Ultimate Training Unity Results Education) features Seattle Rainmakers trainer Ren Caldwell. Based on his teaser video and from going through the actual product, Tim claims that the F.U.T.U.R.E. will help you improve movement, dominate pre-game and prevent injury through the use of videos, notes, diagrams, graphics and footage.

I believe it.

What’s great about F.U.T.U.R.E. is that Tim provides different packages depending on what you’re looking to get out of the product. I would recommend the Pro package because I think by having the lecture audio, it’ll help you learn better since you can have it playing while you’re driving or working out. But if you’re not prepared to pay the full price, at least start with the 4 Way Hip Model. Personally, I think that so many issues exist with knees and back because players have immobile hips and that’s where Ren Caldwell comes in. She’s an expert in joint mobility and stability and with her on board with F.U.T.U.R.E., you can be sure that injury prevention will be something that you’ll get out of this.
